A trailer for the upcoming crossover fighter from Capcom, 「Marvel vs. Capcom 3」, has just beenproduced to the public. The video credits 「Tatsunoko vs. Capcom」 producer, Niitsuma Ryota, as the director and producer of this next installment in the MvC series.

“Tatsunko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars” producer Ryota Niitsuma said that “Marvel vs. Capcom 2″ went a long way in introducing Japan to Marvel’s characters, and given the company’s current push to flood the world’s movie theaters with its heroes, a third game in the series would be appropriately timed about now.

The rumor started early this month and was looked at even deeper when Marvel.com editor Ryan Penagos said he was in Hawaii checking out something “super seeeekrit“. Capcom’s Captivate event is being held in Hawaii this very same week. Add it all up and you get Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
