The former ‘One Day at a Time’ star, the ex-wife of rocker Eddie Van Halen, announced her engagement to financial planner Vitale in May.

Aceshowbiz.com reports that 50-year-old actress insists she ‘feels silly’ throwing a big bash at her age.

‘For me, it feels silly. I’m 50. It’s not about the wedding. I just want to have a marriage. We’re going to get married in Italy, just the two of us and a witness,’ she said.

However, she refused to reveal the date for the wedding.

Filmmaker Larry A Thompson has acquired the rights to Kitty Kelley’s controversial book “Oprah: A Biography” but admits he faces a challenge in finding the right actress to play Winfrey, Contactmusic reported.

“Oprah Winfrey’s fascinating journey from rural Mississippi to the world stage is packed with simple truths and complicated personalities. Casting someone to play Oprah will be the real challenge. We are planning to audition both known and unknown actresses,” Thompson said.

However, news of the project, to be released next year won’t go down well with the talk show titan as she slammed the unauthorised tome last year, branding it a “so-called biography”. The book alleged that the 56-year-old personality used drugs and embellished stories about her poverty-stricken background.

“Lindsay’’s been fascinated in the Buddhist faith for a while as several of her inner circle follow the teachings of Buddhism. Lindsay’’s devastated about the jail sentence and has been crying non-stop.

She’’s been told to seek spiritual guidance and find her inner peace,” a source said. “She’’s decided to study the art of meditation so she can stay calm through breathing techniques while she’’s in jail,” the source added.

The former Victoria’s Secret model has been ordered to undergo regular testing, along with her ex-husband Peter Brant, as part of their divorce proceedings and ongoing custody battle over their three children, reports nypost.com.

The 40-year-old claimed she did not see the e-mails which asked her to meet with a doctor who had been sent to her hotel to perform the test.

While Brant’s lawyers claiming that Seymour ‘has a proclivity for combining alcohol with various prescription drugs’ have now asked that the judge order her not to drink.

However, the judge did not find Seymour in contempt, but warned her not to miss future tests.

The disease forced Isley to retire in 1996 and cost him his legs, which had to be amputated, and the use of his left hand. He had also been stricken in recent years by high blood pressure and a stroke.
