New Delhi : Congress leader Sajjan Kumar could be in deep trouble as Delhi Lt-Governor Tejendra Khanna giving the go-ahead to prosecute him in cases related to the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.
‘Lt-governor Tejendra Khanna has given the nod to the Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) to prosecute Sajjan Kumar,’ a source from Raj Bhavan told IANS.
Former parliamentarian is accused of instigating mobs that went on rampage killing innocent Sikhs across Delhi in 1984 in the wake of the then prime minister Indira Gandhi’s assassination.
