New Delhi: The Government has announced the budget of Commonwealth Games 2010. To make it more successful The government has more than doubled the amount declared before. Earlier budget was fixed at Rs 767 crore now it will be Rs 1,620 crores. the Organising Committee of the Commonwealth Games 2010 will receive this amount as a loan. The decision was to hike budget made by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
19th edition of the Commonwealth Games will be held in New Delhi between Oct 3 and Oct 14, 2010.
