Mumbai: 15-member Indian team is selected for the coming test series against South Africa. Yuvraj Singh, Rahul Dravid and S Sreesanth have been kept out of the series due to injuries.

Mr. reliable Rahul Dravid’s injury is major blow for Indian team. He was injured while facing the short peach delivery from Shahadat Hussain during the Mirpur Test against Bangladesh.

Few new faces selected for the first test match, Karnataka fast bowler A Mithun and Wicketkeeper-batsman Wriddhiman Saha of West Bengal, will replace Yuvraj and Sreesanth in the match.

Players who were selected for first match are Wriddhiman Saha, A Mithun, Sudeep Tyagi, Pragyan Ojha, Amit Mishra, Ishant Sharma, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, S Badrinath, M Vijay, VVS Laxman, Gautam Gambhir, Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag and skipper MS Dhoni.
