Mumbai: The BCCI has confirmed that Gary Kirsten will stay on as coach of Team India till the 2011 world cup. BCCI President Shashank Manohar told reporters that Kirsten contract will be renewed, if necessary.

There was a speculation from few days that Kirsten will replace former South African coach, Mickey Arthur. Kirsten’s current two-year contract comes up for extension in March.
