Melbourne :  Outrage in Punjab, over a fire in a gurdwara in the Nanaksar Taath gurdwara complex which is under construction in Melbourne, the Indian government was in touch with the Australian government over the incident.

Few unidentified miscreants had set fire at the construction site, which is located about 300-odd metres from the Nanaksar Taath Gurdwara, no one was injured and no structural damage has been done to the building.

Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal  condemned this incident and said he will take up the issue with Prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. Some Punjabi lost their lives in recent racial attacks in Australia
