The Home Ministry has  advice Indian airlines to strengthen their security after the intelligence reports on a possible threat from militants to hijack a plane of Indian Airlines “Air India.”

Warning comes after Just few days remaining for the annual Republic Day.

After the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack Indian government strengthen up security measures but remains wary of militant threats.

Government was criticised for mishandling of the Mumbai terror attacks on that time.

Although  the ministry had denied  the suspension of flights, but suggested measures such as greater deploying and frisking more sky marshals.
