Nagpur: India lost first T20 match against Sri Lanka at Nagpur today. Chasing the score of  215 runs, Indian’s manage to get 186 runs in their 20 overs, despite the good start from the openers Gautam Ganbhir and Virendra Sehwag. Gautam Gambhir scored 54 runs in just 26 balls gave India a good start but other Indian  players bowled out cheaply by Sri Lanka. Mathews and Jayasuriya were the leading wicket takers from Sri Lanka, they got 2 wickets each.

Earlier India won the toss and put Sri Lanka in to bat. Things were much better for Indians early few overs but after four overs things get changed, Sri Lankan batsmen took over the match

Sangakkara was the top scorer with 78, while Kapugedera made 47. Dilshan and Jayasuriya contributed 35 and 26 respectively.

Yusuf Pathan and Ashish Nehra turned out to be the most expensive bowlers for India.
