JMM Chief Shibu Soren sworn-in as Jharkhand Chief Minister

Ranchi: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha(JMM) Chief Shibu Soren was sworn-in as the Chief Minister of Jharkhand. He is taking the oath as a Jharkhand CM third time. He could not stayed  too long as a CM of the State before.

Governor K Sankanarayanan administered the oath of secrecy and office to Shibu Soren. AJSU chief Sudesh Mahato and BJP Jharkhand president Raghubar Das were also sworn as ministers in the ceremony.

Shibu Soren will have to prove his majority on the floor of the house on January 8. He will seek the vote of trust on January 7.

JMM along with BJP, AJSU,JJM and two MLA’s of JDU is farming a government in the State of Jharkhand. JMM and BJP has 18 MLA’s each in the assembly while AJSU has 5 MLA’s, JJM has 1 MLA and JDU has 2 MLA’s in the 81-member state assembly.
