Former Australian Prime Minister suffered a huge blow as he was rejected a bid to get elected as the Vice President of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
Afro-Asian bloc has appose his nomination for the Vice President of the International Cricket Council While New Zealand, England and Australia supported Howard’s bid, six countries – West Indies South Africa Bangladesh, Sri Lanka Pakistan, and India, the reportedly opposed to his candidature.
Howard was the candidate from Australia and New Zealand as per the rotational policy. He was hoping to get elected as the Vice President now and then as the President by 2012.
