Kolkata : Samajwadi Partychief Mulayam Singh Yadav rejected  the resignation of Amar Singh from all of his three  party posts and said he is hopeful that  differences will be sorted out soon.

“Amar Singh has resigned from the post of General Secretary and from the membership of the party’s Parliamentary Board. But our relationship is such that I will not accept his resignation. This will be resolved soon,” he told reporters after visiting ailing CPI(M) leader Jyoti Basu at a hospital here.

Asking about the Sanjay Dutt’s  resignation as SP General Secretary ,Yadav said, “Everything will be fine.”

Expressing solidarity with Amar Singh, Bollywood Actor turn politician Sanjay Dutt resigned from his post of  General Secretary of the  Samajwadi Party. However he will decided to continue as a member of the Party.
