New Delhi: According to reports coming from media United Liberation Front of Asam (ULFA) is on the verge of split. Military Commander-in-Chief of ULFA, Paresh Baruah slammed Arabinda Rajkhowa and said there no change in the ULFA’s stand. Chairman Rajkhowa was recently arrested in Dhaka.
According to TIMES NOW, Paresh Baruah refused to give up the ideology, aim and principles of the outfit just to initiate dialogue with the government.
Meanwhile, Rajkhowa was handed over to the BSF by Bangladeshi authorities at the Dawki outpost along the Indo-Bangladesh border in Meghalaya. Rajkhowa was accompanied by his two children, wife, and ten other ULFA members. They were taken to Guwahati and sent to custody.
