Police Still On Trail Of Kyron Horman

PORTLAND, Ore. —Crisis counselors will be on campus Monday at a Portland elementary school where a 7-year old boy vanished Friday. The FBI has also joined the search for Kyron Horman.

Seven-year-old Kyron was last seen inside Skyline Friday morning. An intensive search and investigation into his disappearance were launched that day and extended through the weekend.

Searchers worked into Sunday night. They faced challenging terrain and steady rain, which complicated the effort and quickly wore out searchers, said Sgt. Diana Olsen, coordinator of the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office search and rescue operation.

It was around 8:45 in the morning when Kyron Horman was last seen at the school. Later on, the teachers reported that he had last been seen at the science fair; after that, he had not made it to the classroom at all.

The Multnomah Sheriff’s Office reported that they had got a late head start into the matter to begin with, having been informed of the missing boy a good many hours later, at 4 in the afternoon.
