Rafael Benitez has ridiculed the Premier League’s plan to introduce a Champions League play-off, claiming it would burden an already overloaded fixture schedule.
The Liverpool manager, whose side face Unirea Urziceni at Anfield in the Europa League tomorrow evening, insisted the final spot for the European competition should go to the team that finishes fourth.
