It is surprising but true; this time the richest person of the world not belongs from US, Europe or an Oil rich Arab country but is from developing country according to list of billionaires released by Forbs Magazine.

Carlos Slim, a Mexican civil engineer who is now 1/2 a billion dollars richer Bill Gates, is worth $53.5 billion (39.2 billion euros), according to the 2010 Forbes magazine list of billionaires released on Wednesday.

Carlos built a mobile communications and telecom empire after buying Mexican telephone monopoly Telmex in 1990, and has gone on to own construction companies, department stores,  and financial services firm Inbursa Financial Group, among other investments.
