In a significant news ,The Former Republic of Yugoslavia,  Serbia  has applied for the membership of the European Union (EU). Serbia has a bloody past which not only result in the lost of thousands of lives but also damage the countries economic.

Serbian President Boris Tadic met the Sweden’s Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt and formally submitted the application.

Briefing to the media, Boris Tadic said “ We have been working hard for the last 10 years to bring Serbia into the European Union’. He also desire to end Serbia’s isolation on the world.

He was hopeful to meet the EU conditions for membership.
