India lost the second ODI played at Nagpur, Sri Lanka won the match by 3 wickets. Sri Lankan tail-ender batsmen kept their nerves till the last moment drew Sri Lanka to win. Sloppy fielding of Indian players played key roll for the Sri Lankan’s victory.

Earlier, India win the toss and elected to bat first and scored  301/7 in 50 overs. Mahendra Singh Dhoni hits 107 runs off 111 balls was the  top scorer.

Chasing the target of 307 runs Sri Lanka won the match in 49.1 overs with 3 wickets remaining. Dilshan was the top scorer with 123 runs off 113 balls, It  was  a second consecutive century of Dilshan in One day series played at India, with this win Sri Lanka leveled the series 1-1.
