Rahul Gandhi vs Shiv Sena, meets Mumbaikars on Streets

Mumbai : The Maharashtra Government has taken all security measures to prevent Shiv Sena from disrupting Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Mumbai.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan left no place for any disturbance.

Shiv sainiks showed black flags in some places and near RN Cooper Hospital in Vile Parle they burnt Rahul Ganndhi’s effigy but AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi was not there on that time.

200 Shiv Sainiks were arrested till now including one Sena corporator near Bhaidas Hall in Vile Parle and one former MLA arrested in Matunga.

Rahul Gandhi went to Ghatkopar by changing his route and stopped for few minutes at an ATM of Bank of India. He also met common people breaking his security zone.

He surprised every one by boarding local train to go from Dadar to Andheri and later he taken another train for Rama Bai Nagar.

Shiv Sena Corporator Shraddha Yadav elected Mayor of Mumbai

Mumbai: Shiv Sena’s Corporator Shraddha Jadhav beaten her congress rival Presila Kadam and has been elected for the Mayor of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) of Mumbai, a capital of Maharashtra State.

MNS and Samajwadi Party remain abstained from voting, in the 228-member house of BMC, UPA allies Congress holds 77 members, NCP has 14 member and RPI has 3 Corporators while NDA allies BJP has 29 members and Shiv Sena has 81 Corporators.

Shiv Sena Corporator Shraddha Jadhav has received 114 votes, while her opponent resila Kadam get 96 votes. This victory gave Shiv Sena a major boost after a poor performance in the state Assembly elections.

Shiv Sena Chief Bal Thackeray, ‘Media is not God’

Mumbai: Shiv Sena Supremo Bal Thackeray has try to justified attack on media by saying ‘media is not God, it can’t be forgive for the sake of just that they are writing.’

Yesterday few offices of IBN Lokmat office’s were attacked by Shiv Sainiks . He also blame media for twisting his comments on Sachin Tendulkar.

Bal Thackeray also say that it is a spontaneous reaction of Marathi people. This anger is due to media’s biased behavior. Some section of it is influenced by some corrupt politicians.

Shiv sena protest against a posters of Kurbaan

Mumbai : Shiv sena protest against a poster which shows bare back of Kareena Kapoor and a bare chested Saif Ali Khan and tear down the posters of Kurbaan. Kareena defend her posters saying “ nothing vulgar in Kurbaan posters.”

“Posters were torn at Juhu circle and minds of people were getting corrupt in this area. In public place where children and women roam is not acceptable.” Said Anil Parab, Sena Andheri leader.

Meanwhile Karan Johar a producer and director of film look oblivious to the drama unfolding.

Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Vivek Oberoi are leading stars in Kurbaan,film is releasing next week.
