Two people’s have been executed in China for their alleged role in involving tainted milk powder that cause  a death of Six Childeren.images

An industrial chemical called melamine, which is used to make fertiliser and plastics was contaminated in milk powder, which result to ill more than 300,000 infants in China.

Geng Jinping and Zhang Yujun are both the only person’s executed and Nineteen others have been sentenced prison.

Zhang Yujun and Geng Jinping were charged for endangering public safety, Zhang Yujun alone sold 770 tonnes of the tainted milk powder from July 2007 to August 2008 and Zhang Yujun convicted of supplying milk containing melamine to the other dairies and Sanlu Group which is now bankrupt.

Untill the news of racket broke, Sanlu Group had been China’s leading seller of milk powder, news agency Xinhua said.

Tian Wenhua, the company’s former chairwoman was sentenced to life in prison in January this year after pleading guilty to selling and producing fake or substandard milk.
