Srinagar : Two Fidayeen militants has been gunned down by Security forces at Lal Chowk  in Hotel Punjab where terrorist were reportedly hiding. The last One of militants who had caught fire in the hotel was finally gunned down by the security personnel.

Police official and  the CRPF personnel engaged in the gun battle with terrorists for over 20 hours.

At least two cops and one civilian killed and twelve injured including one media person. It all happened after terrorists lobbed grenades and fired at the Central Reserve Police Force.

Terrorist group Jamait-e-Mujahiddin has taken responsibility for the attack as per TV channel.
