NAGPUR : Horrible traffic experience during the India –Australia One day last month . Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA ) has obtained more land for parking during the India-Sri Lanka Twenty 20 match to be played at Jamtha stadium on December 9.
Earlier Spectators returning to the city after the ODI last month had a harrowing experience while dealing with the traffic jam on Wardha Road that lasted for around two hours. Lack of proper parking place and poor management of heavy traffic on the road led to the situation.
VCA had invited lot of criticism for the snarl apart from a notice from the National Highway Authority of India. To overcome this problem VCA has obtain 11acres of additional land on Wardha road ,opposite the stadium ‘s approach road, apart from the 20 acres they had for parking of two wheelers and four wheelers.
