Mumbai : Millions of Indian cricket fans got upset when Virender Sehwag gave simple catch to Muttiah Muralitharan in the test match played in Mumbai. Indian fans were hopeful of Sehwag’s triple century. He was bowled out for 293 runs, he lost the chance to become the batsman with three triple hundreds in test cricket.

Earlier playing from his 384 runs Virendra Sehwag added 9 runs to his account,but he was deceived by leg spinner Murali. Mumbai crowd gave him a standing ovation as he departed.He hit 7 sixes and  40 boundaries for 293 runs in just 254 balls.

Indians are 494/3 in their first inning in reply to the Sri Lankan’s 393 runs.
