A person named Virendra singh was murdered and his wife was confined and raped by their relatives. Their mistake was they married in the same clan . The incident occurred in Narela, Delhi. The Police have arrested Daya Singha 50year old person, a father of the girl and three others in connection with this incident.
The victim was a resident of Mahara in Sonepat. Both of them were fell in love with each other, were from same village.Girl was 18 years old & virendra was 19 years old. As they were from same clan, family opposed their relationship.later they ran away & stayed together
He was arrested for kidnapping & sent to jail. Girl was forcibly married to another person from Khera village in Haryana in January 2007. Girl lodged complain against her husband for torturing but no action was taken against her husband.
After realease Virendra & girl were reunited & lived together, they married again.But unfortunately girl’s father located them & threatened to kill them and lodged complain against Virendra.
Virendra was arrested again and sent to jail while girl was sent to nari- niketan after few month’s case against virendra was dismissed and he was release and they reunited again. On 17th October virendra was invited by his friend on diwali celebration for dinner but that was proved to be his last dinner.
Girl’s father, brother and a person named Sandeep brutally beat Virendra up to death and Girl was raped by sandeep and his friend for days . She finally managed to reach the police. Police recovered Virender’s body from a canal in Sonepat. The police arrested four people – Daya Singh, Sandeep, Inderjeet and Pawan for this connection.
