Toyota has recalled its some models worldwide following the reports of unintended acceleration. The company initially blamed faulty floor mats but recalled more vehicles due to flaw in the accelerator.
On Oct. 5, Toyota recalled 3.8 million, on Nov. 25 recalled was extended to 4.2 million later another 1.1 million vehicles added on Wednesday.
On Jan. 21, Affected 2.3 million models of 2008-2010 Sequoia, 2007-2010 Tundra, 2010 Highlander, certain 2007-2010 Camrys, 2005-2010 Avalon, 2009-2010 Matrix and 2009-2010 RAV4 were recalled in the US .
